Complimentary Session for the Gender Equity & Reconciliation Workshop
There are moments when something meaningful comes together quickly, almost as if it has its own momentum. This weekend feels like one of those moments.
We are deeply honored to be hosting Cynthia Brix and William Keepin, founders of Gender Equity and Reconciliation International. For decades, their work has focused on healing and transforming the relational dynamics between genders through story, dialogue and deeply embodied process. At its core, this work is about truth, accountability and reconciliation.
Their approach is connected to and endorsed by Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s Truth and Reconciliation work in South Africa, and has since expanded across the world. There is a depth, integrity and lived experience in what they offer that is rare, and we feel grateful to welcome it into our community.
We understand that it’s spring break, life is full and many of you are navigating full schedules and shifting priorities. Additionally, this offering came together rather quickly. And still, we’ve heard from so many of you who feel drawn to this work and want a way to engage.
In response, Cynthia and William have generously opened up Thursday evening of their program at no charge to our wider community.
This is a beautiful entry point. Whether or not you’re able to attend the full weekend, Thursday evening offers a chance to experience their work firsthand. You’ll get a sense of the depth of the process, the power of shared story, and the possibility for real healing within ourselves and in relationship with others.
If you’ve been curious, this is an invitation to step in - whether it’s Thursday night or for the full retreat!
We hope to see you there.
