Wisdom of the Rose Breathwork Ceremony

An evening of contemplation, community, cacao, live music, breathwork, and blessing.

The Wisdom of the Rose

For thousands of years, the rose has been a symbol of love, devotion, beauty, mystery, and the unfolding of the human heart. Yet beyond its symbolism, the rose offers something quieter—a way of listening.

We will begin with a contemplative practice, spending time with a single rose. Through guided meditation and reflection, you’ll be invited to bring the questions, longings, or places in your life where you're seeking clarity, and ask the Rose for symbolic wisdom to apply specifically to you. 

From there, we’ll gather in authentic community to share our reflections, allowing the insights of others to deepen our own understanding.

We’ll then open the heart with ceremonial cacao before being guided into a live-music breathwork journey—a powerful opportunity to move emotion, release what no longer serves, and reconnect with your deepest knowing.

As we close, you’ll be welcomed into a gentle rose water blessing infused with pure rose essential oil, honoring the wisdom you’ve uncovered and the path unfolding before you. Each participant will also receive a message from the Rose Oracle to carry forward into the weeks ahead.

Whether you are seeking clarity, healing, inspiration, or simply an evening of beauty and connection, this gathering offers a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember the wisdom that has always lived within you.d, and cacao become the language of the heart.

This is a Ceremony for Women+

Come as you are. Leave with an open heart, a deeper sense of connection, and perhaps a little more trust in the quiet wisdom already blooming within you.

This ceremony will be held at The Hive, our retreat space in Sparta just 15–20 minutes north of GR, and you’re invited to stay after hours for community integration with a light meal, sauna and hot + cold tubs.

What To Bring

Please bring a blanket, a small pillow, a water bottle and journal/pen. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.

*Please arrive 10 minutes early to set up your nest. You’re invited to stay after hours for community integration time. Connect over a light meal and enjoy the hot tub, cold tubs + sauna! If you plan to stay for dinner, please bring a salad topping (chicken, feta, nuts, etc.)

*To ensure that this class is right for you, please take a moment to scroll down to read more about the contraindications of breathwork.

*Please note the contraindications for breathwork are:

Pregnancy, severe asthma, severe heart disease, untreated high blood pressure, history of psychotic breaks, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, epilepsy/history of seizures, severe or unregulated diabetes.

This ceremony is trauma-informed. Participant safety is of the utmost importance as we dive deep into our body and psyche to empower you with tools to create a life of liberation and ease.

  • *Space is limited. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible, as there is often a waitlist. Cancellations will be refunded with a $50 processing fee, if you notify us in writing prior to 14 days before the event. Within 14 days of the event, refunds will not be given due to health reasons, weather, or winter road conditions, unless your space is able to be filled (minus $50 processing fee). Please plan accordingly.
