Our local community is largely white, and it's possible to move through our daily lives without ever pausing to consider whose land we inhabit or whose wisdom has been preserved through tremendous resilience and sacrifice. This evening is an invitation to do just that.

Together, we'll explore what it means to honor Indigenous wisdom with humility, gratitude, and respect. We'll sit in curiosity rather than certainty, asking how we can cultivate appreciation without appropriation, deepen our relationship with the land, and become more thoughtful stewards of the healing traditions that have influenced so much of our work.

Through teaching, somatic contemplation, and authentic community, we'll consider how reverence can become a lived practice rather than simply an idea.

After a brief discussion, we’ll move into a live-music breathwork ceremony, creating space to embody our prayers through breath, presence, and deep listening. Following the ceremony, you're invited to stay for a simple salad potluck and community connection.

May this evening deepen our appreciation for the wisdom that has been so generously preserved, inspire us to walk with greater humility and respect. May it remind us that healing is something we cultivate together.

For those who wish to receive hapé, it will be offered from 5:15–5:50 PM. The breathwork ceremony begins at 6:00 PM and concludes at 9:00 PM.

We would be honored to share this evening with you.
